| Experience: | I am a Teaching English as a Second Language major at Kent State University with minor in writing and have made the Dean's List every semester for the past two years. I have been tutoring for over five years and have taught privately for two years now. I am a licensed Substitute Teacher in English, ESL, and Japanese in the state of Ohio. I want to be a tutor because I love helping people achieve their language goals and, as a writer myself, help improve my student's writing skills.
Currently my classes consist of writing based courses and language teaching courses. I am involved in a writing internship promoting the Kent State Universities Wick Poetry Center and am working with a poetry outreach program in local schools. |
