Experience
I'm a teaching assistant at Kent State University where I meet with students who have questions about exams or writing assignments. I have also led review sessions in history courses to prep for upcoming exams. I enjoy working with students and helping them reach their goals while being able to discuss something I'm passionate about: the history of our world! I took AP US History in high school and received a 4 on the AP US History Test. In college I took courses on various subjects: World History 1 and 2, The American Republic: 1765-1870, History of England, The Ancient Near East, Roman Art and Architecture, The Hellenistic Period, Global Empires (England, Spain, and USA), Sports History. At Kent State I have been a TA for World History 1: up to 1500AD, and Modern America: 1870-Present. At Kent State I have taken courses in Ohio Archaeology, The Early Middle Ages, and US Frontier History. I am primarily interested in archaeology and have been to Jordan twice on field digs at a Roman/Byzantine Site.
